Running Transformation #7

7.  Transforms your Soul

No matter what your Spiritual/religious beliefs, running itself transforms your Soul.  Depending on your background, this may be a touchy subject, nonetheless a very true one.  Whether you run to music or run to the sound of your heart beat, your Soul moves with you – everywhere your body goes.  Your Soul is a part of you and is who you truly are at the end of the day.  Whether you are a mom, dad, friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, son, daughter, policeman, running coach, financial planner, realtor, etc., - none of those labels matter to your Soul.  It has no attachment to those trivial “names” or “labels” you carry.  Your Soul only cares about what gets you moving, what stirs “It” inside of your very being.  What makes you tick?  Gets you excited?  Carries you through to that next day, or, in this case, that next run?  One of my good friends, Shelley, owns a spin studio in Laguna Beach, CA, and her website sums it up as to what exercise does for you – www.heartsweatsoul.com.  Running gets your heart beating, causes the sweat to pour and speaks to your Soul all at the same time.  THAT is what I am talking about!
So the next time you are out for a run – may your favorite tune greet your heart and your feet as you move or (as in my case) may your breathing, your heartbeat, the sound of your feet and the ocean waves in the background create your own Soul-filled music!

WANTED: Future Coaches

It just feels right to help people, doesn’t it?

What if you could earn a living by simply helping
people improve their lives?

Have you ever wanted to work from home, travel
whenever you want?

You may be able to do that by watching a no-cost
VIDEO course below.

But before you do, let me introduce you to one of
my colleagues and friends.

His name is Jeffrey Sooey and he helps his
clients solve problems every day.  It doesn’t
hurt that he gets paid well to do it either.
More importantly though, he LOVES it.  It’s the
most fulfilling thing he does.

Jeff also trains people like you and me, people
who like to help others, to do what he does.  He
trains others to become coaches.  The cool thing
is now he is doing it at no-cost on VIDEO.

http://www.coachestrainingblog.com/lois

But I’m getting ahead of myself again.  Let me
tell you a little more about Jeff.

His career began 10 years ago when he went to
work for that big tall coaching guru guy you’ve
seen on TV.  You know, the guy with the big teeth
that they are always poking fun at in the movies?

Well, in reality that guru not only knows his
stuff but he means serious business.  And he has
helped literally millions of people.  And while
working for this man, Jeffrey lived through what
he calls the “immersion process”.  And it was
this process that taught him how to do his magic

But after leaving this personal development
success giant, Jeffrey didn’t stop learning.  He
read 150 books on the subject, attended hundreds
of hours of training courses and poured his heart
and soul into further mastering his craft and
figuring out how to attract the clients who need
help, and then turn them into regular paying
customers.

To be fair, Jeffrey is no GURU.  He is amazing at
what he does, but he is also at the RIGHT PLACE
at the RIGHT TIME.

See, Jeffrey tells me that the coaching industry
is estimated to be over US$100bn a year
worldwide.  The Sydney Morning Herald reported
that coaching was the second fastest growth
industry. There are 50,000 Google searches per
month from people looking for a coach. 1 out of 5
Fortune 500 companies now has a coach for each of
their senior executives.

And it is also a very fulfilling career.  Just
ask Jeffrey or any of the thousands of coaches
out there.

Even better, nearly anyone can do it.

If you are interested in learning more, Jeffrey’s
team is standing by to answer your questions –
and if the telephone lines are busy, just keep
trying back.  Here’s the number:  619-286-1797.

And, if you don’t want to wait to get through to
someone, or take the time to call, you can always
GO HERE AND WATCH THE VIDEO COURSE.

http://www.coachestrainingblog.com/lois

This first video shows you Jeffrey’s “secret
weapon” that’s played a major part in his going
from “living in a trailer” broke to having a
growing coaching business that makes $30,000 per
month.

You don’t have to do anything to watch it …just
go here and it’ll play:

http://www.coachestrainingblog.com/lois

These short videos will also help you understand
if coaching might be for you.

You’ll also have the opportunity to get limited
complimentary access to more video training
sessions and a Performance Profile that is
amazingly accurate.  This profile you can take at
no-cost has over 40 pages of information about
YOU.  When I read MY results I THOUGHT A PSYCHIC
HAD BEEN READING MY PALM!

I sincerely hope you take this opportunity.
You’ve got nothing to lose and maybe in the
process you will learn a few techniques that you
can use to help your friends and family for the
rest of your life.

By the way, over the next few weeks, Jeffrey is
going to add some AWESOME content on:

1. How mangers can use coaching techniques to get
more from their staff
2. Advanced coaching techniques
3. How to become a professional coach making over
$100 / hour

After hearing Jeffrey’s history, I learned that
you need to get the REAL story in order to
understand how you can get all these results.
That’s why he put together this video course.
And there’s only one way he can share his story
with you…

He has to take you deep inside his sometimes
twisted world of coaching.

P.S. The statements Jeffrey makes sound like a
stretch.  But you need to get the REAL story.

My first California earthquake

Fear crept in my body this morning, roughly before noon.  It was going to be another “Transformational Tuesday”.

Yet this was no “normal” transformation I have experienced before.

My house was shaking.

I was sitting before my computer….which was also shaking.

I looked up, my office walls were moving.  My pictures were pounding on the walls precariously for several seconds.

The birds outside my window had stopped singing and I heard a rumble from outside.

This was not normal.

When it comes to reaching our most important goals–peace, prosperity, loving families, personal satisfaction and the joy of living well, Mother Nature seems to know something. She moves slowly and methodically. She does her work in small increments, day by day, always moving forward, taking her time and doing her work with exquisite beauty. We can learn from that.

Today, however, Mother Nature threw us a curve in the form of an earthquake, at a 5.4 level on the magnitude scale.  Even though it was to the East of Los Angeles, in the Chino Hills area, it was felt all the way down to San Diego.

This was my first earthquake ever.  It reminded me again of the subtleties of life and how things can suddenly change to catch your attention.

Whether it be a personal or professional “quake” of sorts, there are uncertainies in life that come our way that stop me in my tracks and cause me (as it did today) to run out my front door and make sure that everything was okay.  That my neighborhood didn’t come crumbling down and my house was still on its foundation.

I smiled to myself as I came back into my home office and sat back down at my computer.

I realized that my initial fear was gone and was replaced by sheer excitement.

I had thrived through my first “quake” and lived to tell about it.

What a transformational Tuesday this has been!

Here’s to you and your own transformations today, whether it be earthquakes that cause you to wonder if your walls were going to hold the pictures that were on them or if you simply get to hang out in rush our traffic or your job hangs in balance - whathever “uncertainties” might catch you in the moment.  Enjoy the journey and smile to yourself.  Everything is going to be alright once the “quake” is over.

Phoenix Arizona real estate update

Looking to invest in real estate?  Consider Phoenix, Arizona’s market this summer - it is not only heating up temperature wise, there are also hot opportunities for the perfect investor situation.  READ ON!

Home Prices - PHOENIX, ARIZONA UPDATE

Average home prices continue to drop. This started in June of 2006 when the median listing price was at $300,000. The median listing price is now down to $220,000. But, we are about to reach a level that would reflect a normal price increase for the market based on the 2001 to 2004 numbers, where we saw a steady 4-6% increase in values. At the current drop in average prices (driven by the current number of foreclosure deals out there) we should hit the trend line in about 2 months. There is a strong possibility that at that point we will see a rise in average prices and that will truly be a turning point in the market: both in terms of activity and price levels. If all these numbers hold true then the investment window is now down to 60-90 days.
It will be interesting to look back in the fall and see how accurate we were.

Foreclosures

Interesting numbers for June. There are two significant numbers to look at according to Realty Trac, one of the main foreclosure monitoring companies. First of all, in June there was a dramatic jump in the number of foreclosures (properties taken back by lenders). This means there will be a continued investment opportunityas the banks put these properties back on the market, especially at the lower end of the price spectrum. The other number, foreclosure notices, is very significant if the number holds for another month or two. Currently, foreclosure notices are down dramatically, which may signal an end to the wave of foreclosures coming on the market. We will continue to monitor this number closely. If the wave of new foreclosures ends, then as soon as the last batch of foreclosures are bought up by investors and bargain hunters, the window will completely close and all those fence sitters will jump in (typically too late to take advantage of the real bargains) and start driving prices up again.

More Good News Numbers
Inventory (supply) down: For the fourth straight month the total inventory has dropped. We are still in the 50,000’s which is high but the trend is down.
Sales (demand) up: Closed sales for June are close to 6000 and double what they were per month during the slump in 2007.
Forecast: pending sales for July are above 7000, so it is safe to conclude that the trend will continue.
The inventory at the current absorption rate (time to clear out the current inventory) has dropped to 9 months from over 20 months in 2007. The last time we saw these numbers was in Spring of 2007.
Conclusion: The market is continues to gain momentum.

The Real Estate Market continues to recover

Reason #8 How Running Can Transform Your Life

8.  Transforms your mind.   Nothing cleans out the “cobwebs” as running does.  Cleaning that junk out of the trunk, so to speak, of the mind comes fluidly with every step, with every breath taken, on the running trail.  Shakespeare said it best, “Bid me run and I will strive with things impossible.”  So true.  I have run for over a decade and I can remember many runs were my main outlet for stress – in fact studies prove that the number one cure for stress is exercise.  Stress starts in the mind, as does nearly everything.  Running also boosts the confidence and self-esteem (see also reason #10 – a higher mindset and confidence level boosts the pocket book as well!).  Higher confidence and self-esteem within one’s self bodes well in all areas of life, not just financial.  Relationships are healthier, work is more productive and focused, time is managed more effectively and overall peace from within your entire body all just tips of the iceberg benefits of how running can transform your mind.

Reason #9 For Running Transformation

This is a weekly continuation of a 10-week series of the top 10 running transformation tips.

9.  Running transforms your body. After coaching thousands of runners/walkers, I have seen literally thousands of pounds shed off of the bodies of people who found running to be their number one source of cardiovascular activity.   Not only does it help in moving your body and causing sweat to flow and your heart to pump, over 80% of runners say that as a result of their regular running routine, they found themselves eating healthier diets (actually eating more healthy foods, period.) and drinking more water than ever before. They would cut out sweets and sugar regularly because they did not like the way they felt or performed in their workouts/runs. Not only that, another benefit was that they slept better and often even more hours per night due to the heightened activity and desire to get their rest.

Stay tuned to next week for Tip #8!

Have a transformational week!

Lois Tiedemann

Lois’ Second Published Book Project

After becoming a published author the first time, I can honestly say I must know (on a much smaller scale) what it would be like to be a mom and having had that “first” child.  December of 2006 was a very, very proud moment in my life - one of the biggest so far.

Now, just as in any “second” in life, I am sharing with you my excitement again!

Later this year, in 2008, my second book project will be published.  I am honored and privileged to announce that I will be a contributing author in the second book of a series entitled, “Thank God I….”, with my own chapter about how the impact of my friend Mike’s death to cancer impacted me in a transformational way.  The title of my contribution will be “Thank God My Friend Died Of Cancer”.

Mark Victor Hansen of Chicken Soup For The Soul fame will also be a contributing author in this project and Oprah has already requested a copy of the first book, so there are people taking notice!

More news to follow on this in a FREE teleseminar next week!  Stay tuned!

You can learn more about this exciting book project, and purchase book #1, at www.ThankGodI.com.  Feel free to ask my questions on this as well.

Here’s to you in your own Transformational journey!

INSPIRATION A new twist on Reason, Season or Lifetime friends

People come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

You may have heard this saying before and it is personally one of my favorites.   When I look back on my life and all the people, places, things that have happened, I am always humbled and grateful the most for all the amazing people that have come in and out at different times.

Whether it was a lifetime reason - as in Erma Fick, my Sunday School teacher as a child and Great Aunt who is still going strong today at age 80 and over 60 years of marriage (and is still my Spiritual advisor even thousands of miles away from me).  I love you Aunt Erma!  Your pearls of wisdom and your faith still guide me today.

Or for a season - as in my running club members in Minneapolis, MN, whom I taught for just a few years, but who very well may still be running after all this time and I just don’t know where they may be at in their journey.

Or as in a reason - that person I recommended a book to read or a movie to watch that impacted me to a deeper level that will leave a lasting impact and deep change in their life.  The timing could be so powerful that they recommend that same book or movie on to someone else that keeps paying it forward and transforming the world in the process.

You never know what type of an impact you may have had on someone in a relationship, or even a “chance” meeting on the street.  Yet, I do know that you met for a reason, season or a lifetime to benefit either them or yourself in some way.

I just watched a video recently that brought this to another level for me.  It does not even have to be a human being that you meet for a reason, season or a lifetime, that makes the difference for you or that other “being”.

CLICK HERE for a very touching video that displays how a couple of human beings met a cub lion, named him Christian, and made a difference in all of their lives - a difference that, I believe, will last a lifetime.

Here’s to you and all your relationships (human and not)!  May you see the reason, the blessing and the impact they have in your current season or this lifetime.
